cjlion Thanks a lot for your purchase, supporting me and StitchBuddy's development: Much appreciated!
Assuming you're referring to StitchBuddy for macOS, there are two ways to convert files between embroidery formats:
- You can convert single files by opening a design and using the menu item "File" - "Save as…", selecting a different format from the pick list. The corresponding file name extension is automatically assigned.
- If you want to convert multiple files, a workflow can be defined to perform batch conversions. There are multiple options to configure such a process and how it integrates into the system. I strongly recommend to watch this video tutorial, where I show how to build a file converter app with Apple's Automator.
In both cases the size limitation for PES target designs applies, which has technical reasons and is not related to any purchase option. Please refer to this FAQ article for more details and potential bypasses.
Maybe you can elaborate if your problem is not resolved, describing the performed steps, error messages etc.
P.S.: I hope you don't mind me moving this discussion into the "Tips & Tricks" category, which is better suited for app-related support questions.
