Just a brief info to share:
StitchBuddy's feature to add text shapes was struggling with right-to-left languages, like Arabic or Hebrew: After entering such a text, the shape's paths were always left-to-right. This bug will be fixed with StitchBuddy 3.4.5, currently in Apple's review process.
Honestly, I don't know if the input field is also considering the correct direction when entering text in these languages, but at least copy & paste works. I'm happy to have your feedback if you're still facing issues.
