StitchBuddy / ~HD 3.4.2 - DST Trim Commands

StitchBuddy 3.4.2 (2958) is available for public beta testing on macOS and iOS, now. These updates will introduce the following changes:

Trim commands in DST files are preserved while jump optimization was re-enabled, avoiding erratic leftovers when parts of a design are moved or deleted. These commands are indicated by scissors icons and enlarged needle points in the underlay view if jump stitches are shown
The color of symbols (needle points and trim commands) is adjusted to the background color for better visibility. This works for individual background colors as well as the dark / light theme on iOS.

TestFlight installations are provided using these links for StitchBuddy (macOS) and StitchBuddy HD (iOS / iPadOS). Although I didn't realize any major issue, these versions are still beta releases: Feel free to test and provide any feedback in this discussion.

Known issues (this post will be continuously updated):

Flickers when activating the minimized app (in design view) on iOS: Unnecessary refreshes due to dark mode checks. Will be fixed with release.

No issues have been reported so far. I'll keep the beta testing running for another week, then - hopefully - submitting the final release to Apple's review.

Please don't be shy to join TestFlight and evaluate StitchBuddy's beta version - especially if you're using DST files and were struggling with trim commands…

StitchBuddy 3.4.2 (2960) for macOS and iOS / iPadOS was approved by Apple and is available in the App Store. The new version will be distributed in waves, updating on your devices within a week (depending on system settings) - but it can always be manually installed from the App Store.

Thanks to everyone participating in this beta test, and don't forget to reinstall StitchBuddy from Apple's App Store to ensure continuous updates…
