StitchBuddy 3.4 - Background Images

Shortly, StitchBuddy for Mac will enter a new public beta phase, introducing background images. These images can be used to either provide a more realistic preview of your embroidery designs, or to act as templates when creating shapes.

I'm currently performing some more internal tests, but feel free to watch this video tutorial on YouTube for a sneak preview of the new feature.

Starting today, a first public beta of StitchBuddy 3.4.0 (2931) can be installed via TestFlight using this link. This version is introducing background images as well as a slightly improved 3D experience. Please refer to the video mentioned above for a feature overview.

Although I didn't realize any major issue, this version is still a beta release: Feel free to test and provide any feedback in this discussion.

As of now, no problems have been reported - but test participation is rather low, probably due to the summer season. And maybe I need to reach out to more customers with these announcements, e.g. via a news posting in StitchBuddy.

Anyway, I'll keep this test running for the week and I'm looking forward to a release, soon.

StitchBuddy 3.4.0 (2933) was approved by Apple in the early hours and is available in the App Store. The new version will be distributed in waves, updating on your Mac within a week (depending on system settings) - but it can always be manually installed from the App Store.
