PES design can not be saved

I am trying to save a design but keep getting this error. I have not modified the original file.

Keep getting this error.

The design is larger than supported by PES v1.0 (130 x 180 mm). The design can not be saved.

I am brand new to embroidery and not sure what I am doing.

Hi Dave! The error is caused by a (size) limitation exporting Brother PES files, which I couldn't overcome. You might look into these discussions (or directly the related FAQ article) for an explanation and potential bypass:
