Emily I get a message that I have to convert it but there isn’t a way to do that? I want to be able to edit change density and do lettering making names and so on
Hi Emily! I'm partially working on assumptions, but your question seems to be related to StitchBuddy HD on iPhones / iPads, not to the macOS version … correct?
More file formats can be read than written, so sometimes a design needs to be converted into a writable format before it can be edited. You can convert one or more files from the gallery / file browser, e.g. after long-tapping a design. Please refer to this video tutorial to learn about this feature and more.
StitchBuddy HD has no lettering function (while StitchBuddy for Mac comes with some capabilities), but neither of them has an option to change the stitch density of a design.
I'd suggest to closely check this feature list of both StitchBuddy versions, checkout the free trial, and - of course - don't be shy to ask further questions … either in this discussion or directly by mail.
