Since StitchBuddy 3.8.0 thread colors are ordered automatically within 8 clusters based on their hue. This step was necessary as I introduced a new thread chart with more than 800 colors without any meaningful order, and there was no way to sort them manually…
I received some feedback that you are used to the existing thread charts, as most of them were already sufficiently sorted. The new filter option on iOS / iPadOS is helpful, but it's not addressing this issue - especially not on macOS.
With StitchBuddy's next release almost all thread colors will be listed in the same order as before version 3.8.0. Only two thread charts (which were not already sufficiently ordered) will still be sorted by color using the new method: Candle Polyester and Gunold Poly. This way you will find thread colors as you were used to - and when needed I can sort new lists automatically.
