Well, I need to convert to metric units - approximately a stitch length of 10 mm and a spacing of 1 mm. Sounds reasonable for me for knockdown / lay down stitches, maybe a bit on the longer side? I'd go with shorter stitches and a little more spacing, e.g. length .20" and spacing .06"? But these settings are very dependent on the used fabrics, and I'd highly recommend a test run!
