Could you please remember window size and position? Every time I launch the app I have to resize and move.

Are we talking macOS? Normally window sizes and positions are remembered, but there is a system setting to not restore windows … Maybe that's enabled on your Mac? Please check in "Desktop & Dock" the setting to close windows when quitting an app: If this option is not enabled windows are restored.

Yes MacOS but I mean when you create a new Document it always defaults to a small size and I always have to expand it back to the size I need.

moofpup Not sure I got your idea, but any empty design is a new window without any size to restore by default: I have defined a default size for new windows, but that's a constant and not updated to any changed window size … unless restoring an open window when relaunching the app.

Well, let me rack my brain over this for a while ☺️ (assuming I got you right, otherwise please correct me).

I was just further evaluating the situation with new designs and their window size, and I'm still struggling to understand your point:

In my environment a new tab is always preferred when opening a new document (there is a corresponding system setting under "Desktop & Dock"). A new tab is (of course) having the same size as an already opened window. If no window exists the default window size is used, which is almost covering the whole desktop on my 14" MacBook Pro.

If this system setting is set to "Never" or "Full Screen", a new design is always opened in a new window, again using the mentioned default size.

Could you elaborate your suggestion? Maybe you are referring to the zoom level of an empty document, which is - due to the lack of any design to fit - at minimum presenting a 40 x 40 mm square (approx. 1.5" x 1.5")…?
